Dr. Jozef Zelenak is Board Certified in General Psychiatry since 2016 and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry since 2017. In 2012, he graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City KS, and completed internship, residency, and fellowship training at Palmetto Health & University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia SC.
In his private practice at Carolina Performance in Raleigh NC, Dr. Zelenak provides consultative, diagnostic, and treatment services, including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. Psychotherapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, individual brief therapies and others. He treats a wide variety of psychiatric disorders such as ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, and others.
Dr. Zelenak published a clinical review article about new medications for treating ADHD in the prestigious Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (JAACAP Connect, Summer 2017, Volume 4, Issue 3, p.19).
